The UK property market, despite the wider economic hurdles faced over the past few years has performed exceptionally well, continually defying experts’ predictions over the health of the market. As a result, investors have realised healthy yields and capital returns on their property investments, outperforming many other investment types over this period. As we begin to see economic recovery and a return to a new normal, here at FJP Investment we considered it beneficial for prospective buyers to have a greater understanding of investor sentiment towards the property market. So, we commissioned a survey asking over 500 certified property investors, all of whom own at least two residential properties, a series of questions to ascertain their current plans for purchasing in the market, and importantly, where in the UK they were looking to invest. As evidenced, London remains the primary location of choice for property investment, with 44 percent of investors considering London as their next investment location.
